Learning to love Book Summaries

Leaing to love Book Summaries I am a school teacher for almost twenty years. I say this only for information about the view that I share with you. I am often asked by students who are preparing to head for college, if I do not have words of wisdom or advice for dealing with them. Yes, I do. I have a lot of advice for students entering college. The school is different than life drastially grow with your family. There is much I could, but I'll stick to a piece of advice that will astonish you: lea to love the book summary. What? Do not expect the council? Well, there you are. My number one advice (however academic) for students entering college. I am surprised by this because I said that I am a school teacher. Well, I will explain why your book summary college experience. It 'really quite simple. College is not easy. You have probably heard that from every person you know that at school, and lived to talk about it. It is no longer high school, and so everything is cranked and you will find that you need more of you in college. More information is needed, which means that the books assigned to you, and you need more of you. So my advice on the book summary. Book summaries are one of the greatest tools you can use for most of the information from all there is to know. For example, if you have a week that was another book to read in each of five classes, then there is no way that you can read every book in full. Instead, go to book summary. Book summaries can often be found in libraries or on-line sources. Some research before you the way to see what the school and sources of the book you will find a summary. Another suggestion that one of my university professors told me in the course of the study was to read the introduction or the opening of each chapter of the book, then read only the first and last sentences of each paragraph in the whole the book, until you get to the summary to read completely. He gave me this method and I find enough in college and then grad school. There is an option, your book of synthesis, if not by a Ahold. College is hard enough without having to compensate the reading that is required. Get your book summaries, and the college experience is easier, less stressful and more with the things you want to enjoy.

E-mail as your college professor

E-mail as your college professor So its 1:30 in the moing and six at the computer trying to refresh the page e-mail. The big test tomorrow, and even your teacher n? T answered back, but why? Contrary to popular belief, your teacher asks you not, the problem may stem from the fact that your e-mail never reached him / her. Therefore, the purpose of this guide is to show students how to write an e-mail to their teachers. Field Use your university or college e-mail by sending an e-mail to your teacher. This not only assures the professor that you are a student, but also to avoid having your e-mail to the spam box. Many universities and colleges now use a system of e-mails can be received from some areas than anything else (Hotmail, Yahoo, etc ...) is automatically inserted into the spam box or is forwarded to the teacher as spam. Example: Astudent@university.edu field is the most important, if you ruin the meantime, you can kiss your e-mail Good bye. Avoid putting the teacher? Name e-mail (a teacher), because all e-mail system can handle this format. It 'always best to send your e-mail the teacher? University or school, as this is the email account that your Professor checks, or should control more. And again before sending the message to verify that the e-mail address is spelled correctly. Example: Subject field Aprof@universtiy.edu The object must be of the following format: CollegeName-CourceCode-Title-CollegeName Subject: The name of your institution of education (America Leaing College, Boston University? Etc.) Yes, I realize that this may seem somewhat 'redundant, but it is important. Most teachers (Usually new Professors) teach one or more universities and schools, each term, and e-mail from these institutions is transmitted to a main address, usually their email address ISP. So, to organize your best to write the name of the college or university in the Subject field. CourseCode-The code name of the course (MTH140, CPS124, GEF345? Etc.) It? S preferable to maintain the capital letters and no space between number and letter. Title: Here you type the title of your topic. (Test 1, the intermediate examinations, assignment 5? Etc.) Subject: The most regarding the type or problem that you may have (the date of issue, the number of tests failed, HW Problem # 45? Etc. ) Remember to keep short, no more than 5 words. Example: Boston College-MTH140-Assignment 4-HW Problem # 45 The body of the text of the field try to keep things simple, clean and, at this point. This is not to say 2 page e-mail or fantasy and font color, do not forget your first priority is to convey the message does not display your e-mail editing skills. He began writing the names of professors (Prof. C. McGill, Professor U. Stan? Etc.) Go to the topic of your e-mail as a reminder to uphold the code of the course and the title of the field (Monday? S MTH140 class you said Assignment 4). The next line should indicate the problem or conce. Be sure to provide detailed information and to avoid repetition. End its best for e-mail greetings with a statement (Thank You, Yours Truly, .. etc) and use your name, number of students and a college or university, like a signature name. Example: Prof. C. McGill, During Monday? MTH140 S Class 4 for the assignment question # 41 for the second derivative theorem. However, it is difficult to know how to find the delta X? In particular, during the situation when the time is 3 seconds and the delta Y is 0. We did delta Y Ymin and solve from there? Thanks _________________ Each student #: 0101010101 Boston University points to remember - Provide a minimum of one day of the week for teachers to answer back, before sending an e-mail. - Do not send multiple e-mail in two copies in a given time. - Try to send e-mail during the week and, if possible during the hours of teachers. - Try to be respectful and professional (ie non-offensive language, spell check? Etc.) - Do not take the frustration by spamming the Professors mailbox.
