Magazine: What does it mean for me

Magazine: What does it mean for me What is Homeschooling for me? It has become an integral part of who we are as a family, it would be difficult to analyze separately. It 'really our way of life. Homeschooling means spending more time with my children - all, not just children. My older children to a "normal" school for several years before we started Homeschooling, and I felt in touch with what was in their lives. We've grown apart, both literally and figuratively. Because society has accepted that parents want to work with infants and children, but once the children reach school age, would prefer not around? I had to send children to spend the day with another adult. I have the feeling that when they are bo, and I do not feel well today. I deeply enjoy each and every one of my sons and I love, are with me every day. Homeschooling means that they are free to openly express our faith and apply to all areas of life and study. God is not only banished to Sunday school, or even only Religion class. History is full of faith-filled people whose actions and ideas directly related to their faith, including the founding fathers of our country. I do not see how to teach, how America began without mentioning God Science is in reality a study of the creation of God How can such an amazing world, and not the source of all? Writing and reading faith issues. When it comes to matters of discipline, God and his teachings are included in the discussions. It would be unnatural for a person of any faith to spend their entire day forbidden to mention their God Homeschooling half open and I have an incredibly close relationship with my two boys. They speak with me on something, and are not embarrassed to be seen with me or our whole family. We laugh together and enjoy each others company. My sixteen years and the daughter of fourteen years, son are great friends to each other. They were not made to feel that parents are irrelevant, or the enemy. More time together means we know far better than any other. Homeschooling means I know, and choose the books that my children read and lea. I am aware, and guide, topics for discussion. I have to wonder what "life lessons" that get on the coer, school, bus, or even in class. Choose when to lea some things when they are ready (and it was at a different time for each of them). Include planning and education, a degree of participation, which is very important to me. Homeschooling half my children can progress through their studies at their own pace. If you lea something quickly, we can only continue. If you need more time with something, we are able to slow down, to ensure that captain. And I know right away if you need more help. Problems are not hidden until they are important issues, and we can deal with them immediately. I know that my children and love better than anyone else, so their success is of paramount importance. Homeschooling children of my age get to see the younger ones grow and develop. They were just as surprised to hear the youngest laugh for the first time as I was. Everyone is leaing more about child care and patience, and that the needs of others before them. These are the skills of life that are important to everyone. Homeschooling is more relaxed day - we are planning - results in less stress. Our day is flexible, it can be given less busy. We do not have to get up before dawn on a bus at 6.50. I do not believe that everyone has to be read, while it is still dark. :) Homeschooling means more free time for other activities. There may be a day of work in less time, since we did not always organize a class of 20 or 30 students, or spend time walking up and down long corridors. Homeschooling means we can visit Disney World during off-peak hours, instead of fighting crowds of people who are on school vacation plans. Homeschooling means, on the other hand they are a house, is never quite all clean. After six children at home all day, every day, creating more chaos (especially in the kitchen), and makes it difficult to continue with the cleaning, laundry, etc. does not bother me as much as the first, because I had to set priorities . The formation and growth of my children first. They help, but not at the expense of the school. Every few days, when my limits, everything takes a break and cleans up. But until it moves, you continue to take a certain amount of disorder. Homeschooling means slowly and I can not live in the present moment, if necessary. I really appreciate the time that I have with my younger children, a few minutes, at any time to observe the way in which every pleasure in leaing new skills. I feel less rushed since Homeschooling, and can, for small, but monumental moment in the life of a child. Homeschooling means, in short, more time and opportunity to my vocation of motherhood. [Please take my words will not understand that these things are not possible for those who do not home school. This is a discussion on what it means for me Homeschooling. Each family is unique, each family has its way forward, to find what is best for them.]
