Four ways to improve students' Listen
Four ways to improve students' Listen As the mother of three boys, I see the death of culture is always listening to my children in the car with me. It's not that does not listen. It 's just that you only hear your iPod! HELLO! And not that I do not have a lover of music. I like to listen to my ipod, I have the name, EdVenture Girl ... But the opportunity to collectively as the family presents great opportunities for others, and that is no longer taking place in our world of media-soaked! So when I think of my children in a class, not a machine, as can be ... hope that their teachers listen, if I can do? Maybe my parents' side will win. In any case, here are some thoughts on how children in the classroom .. Music 1.Use Now that seems to contradict what I wrote, but ... indeed, it is not. In one class, the music for the entire community, children are ready to lea. Play music while students write or solve problems, while in small groups helps students connect really think. There is much research on the metacognitive benefits of music in class, not too much research on the iPod to lea more! All I know is the right choice of music, sound, or the poem is a problem of children at a high level of interest rates. 2nd Punctata paraphrase your lessons with brief moments connective pair paraphrase, in which children with others what they have heard. Doing this in a team, orally or in writing, may stimulate discussion of how a group presents its paraphrase of the group and then asking another team of their parts. 3rd When I'm sketching up, or the submission of a concept into a conference, I have taught children to make sketches of what they hear and understand. There is a multitude of mind-mapping, which helps students to access their thoughts at this time. It saves thinking ... then for a further study. And, yes, .. Keep this in a notebook! Contact 4.Eye Only the eyes and assessment, stating that regularly helps the students to participate. Each lesson I teach different features news about this. Eye contact is crucial for processing information for some students. Children love it, and work hard to bring the signal to the eyes to see! These are just some ways to quickly get the film in pasivity in a class ... un po 'and you will see that the factor of increase of listening ... is music to the ears!
